Artist's Description

This little painting looks toward City College over the roof tops of Harlem. It is painted entirely using palette knife to mix and apply the oil paint. Instead of mixing and blending colors using a brush, a palette knife is used. It gives a textural quality to the painting. The artist's signature at the lower right is scratched in with the knife.
